We are looking for M.Sc. and Ph.D. candidates to join our group!

Our group employs theoretical and experimental tools to understand the relations between the micro-structure and the macroscopic response of soft materials. Materials of interest include spider silk fibers, gels, lattice structures, and dielectric elastomers.

The candidate will be responsible for advancing a research program focused on the above mentioned general topic. Candidates with a background in mechanical engineering, materials science engineering, and electrical engineering are preferred.

Our group is part of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, located in Haifa, Israel. Technion is ranked in the top 100 universities in the world, houses 3 Nobel laureates, and is a leader in scientific research and technology development. Many graduates from the Technion founded successful start-up companies and found significant positions in the industry and the academia.
